What is CVHAS?

The Cooperative Vehicle-Highway Automation Systems (CVHAS) is a federal pooled-fund program.  Its main purpose is to use the pooled resources from public and private sector partners to research, develop, evaluate and deploy CVHAS solutions that shall improve transportation mobility, safety, air quality, and energy reduction.

As part of its mission, CVHAS (pronounced "seavas") seeks to facilitate the sharing of technological and institutional experiences gained from its projects and the projects of its individual members.
